At Hi-Tech Dental Care, we are committed to staying on the cutting-edge of the latest technology to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of dental care available. We utilize the most advanced sedation dentistry techniques to treat patients who are apprehensive about dental treatment, as well as for patients who do not have a lot of time to have their dental treatment completed over a series of appointments.

Sedation Dentistry for Apprehensive Patients

Sedation dentistry is commonly used for management of special patients, young children and the mentally and physically challenged. Our doctors are highly trained and skilled in the latest techniques of sedation dentistry to ensure our patients’ utmost safety while providing optimal dental care in a calming and comfortable atmosphere.

We use both psychological and pharmacological techniques to help control anxiety and pain that can be associated with dental treatments. Depending on the procedure being performed, local anesthetics, sedative drugs or general anesthesia may be used to offer relief from anxiety and pain.

Sedation Dentistry for Multiple Treatments

We have also found that sedation dentistry has offered an alternative for those with busy schedules. With sedation dentistry, treatments that normally may require several appointments to complete can now be done in as little as one visit. This is perfect for someone who does not have time for multiple visits.

Oral sedation is relatively risk-free. Using clinically proven, safe and effective sleeping aids and relaxers, we are able to perform a number of dental procedures all during one single visit, such as:

  • Full mouth restorations
  • Root canals
  • Oral surgery (extractions)
  • Crowns & bridges
  • Fillings
  • Veneers
  • Bonding
  • Teeth whitening

If you have a number of dental procedures that need to be completed and your apprehensive or just don’t have the time, then sedation dentistry might be the answer for you. Please view our What is Sedation Dentistry page for more information.
